Blue Monday!

Blue Monday is considered to be the most difficult day of the year, the nights are dark, bills are mounting up and and the weather is always freezing. In current times, with social isolation unfortunately becoming an awful norm for many, we decided to challenge that by offering doorstep deliveries to service users and members of our surrounding community. Boxes full of homemade soup, buns and wellness packs were taken out by staff on the morning to be enjoyed at lunch time. So many great conversations were had and it was amazing to connect with people face to face (social distancing and all relevant government guidelines upheld of course). A huge thank you to our Project Manager Dorothy Gardiner for making the Soup and Staff Members Leigh Ann, Jenae, Catherine, and Vic for organising and delivering!

We also hosted a Facebook Live Event featuring Community Support Workers Jenae and Vic, Counsellor Erin Russell and Young Volunteer Danielle Winch! They shared their experiences with Blue Monday as well as Lockdown 3. Click below to watch!
