Mentoring and Befriending
Our new Mentoring and Befriending Project will match volunteer mentors with people who need support to go out on their own. The support could be attending interviews, going to courses, activities, developing new hobbies and interests.
Volunteers will receive training, supervision and support.
People who need support will develop their own personal plan focusing on what they can do or want to do rather than what they can’t do and be supported to achieve their ambitions.
Contact us if you’re interested, or you can also be referred by voluntary/community, statutory sector, private and other agencies.
We are currently accepting referrals for the mentoring & Befriending service however due to the high volume we currently have any new clients may not be able to be assessed until a couple of months after the referral is made, download or call for a referral form.
