Get Moving and Cooking for Your Wellbeing

Get Moving for Your Wellbeing’ is a new project Sunderland Mind are working on in partnership with Keep Active NE C.I.C, to get you active and moving more. We are offering free sports sessions which are suitable for all abilities.

Our sessions run every Wednesday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Our wide range of sporting equipment means every week the activities are different and suitable for everyone. In the last 30 minutes of each session, we sit down, relax and have a catch up over a coffee and some lunch.

We are also providing free cookery lessons, in addition to the active sessions. The next Cookery Lesson will be held on Wednesday 9th February from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm! Come and learn new skills with us and ‘Get Cooking for Your Wellbeing’. We are here to educate you on food that has good nutritional value. Food that provides you with energy, helps with concentration, makes you feel happy and even assist in getting a better night’s sleep.

We are here to provide you with any nutritional, dietary and exercise advice you may need, in addition to the ongoing wellbeing support we provide. Our team is here to help you become the healthiest and happiest version of yourself. Both 1 to 1 and group support can be provided.
