Mentoring and Befriending

Unfortunately this service is no longer running

Our Mentoring and Befriending Project aims to match volunteer mentors with people who need support to go out on their own. The support could be attending interviews, going to courses, activities, developing new hobbies and interests, or just going out for a walk and a chat.

Volunteers will receive training, supervision and suppor to best enable them to empower their clients and allow them to start the next chapter of their journey.

People who need support will develop their own personal plan focusing on what they can do or want to do rather than what they can’t do and be supported to achieve their ambitions.

Contact us to refer yourself if you’re interested, or you can also be referred by other agencies such as voluntary or community organisations.
