We are Sunderland Mind – an independent charity run by local people for local people.
We provide confidential, high-quality services for individuals, carers and families experiencing emotional or mental health problems. We aim to do this in a safe, caring, non-judgmental and supportive environment.
You can sign up to any of our services, they are open to all.
We welcome referrals from community, voluntary, statutory, private sectors and other agencies.
We’d love to hear from you, so please get in touch.
*Returning to Work Update*
Since we closed our doors on the 24/03/2020, staff have been very busy working from home to provide as much support for our community as possible.
We are now happy to announce that we will be returning to work very soon. From Monday 6th July 2020, our Wellbeing Hub will be open. However this is for staff members only, with face to face work remaining under review. This means that all current group and service work will continue to run through the online and telephone services we have in place.
If you need to contact us, we are now available Monday – Thursday 10am-4pm & Friday 9am-1pm. Any messages left will be answered as soon as possible.
Our current phone number is 0191 565 7218
If you feel you need urgent help and we are not available please contact Sunderland Initial Response Team (IRT) on 0303 123 1145
The service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week, throughout the year.
