At Sunderland Mind we offer a range of activities and services to support local people in achieving positive mental health and wellbeing.
Unfortunately, due to staff capacity, we are no longer taking referrals for anger management and are unable to provide this service.
A well established service that has been helping people work through their personal issues with a trained counsellor for over 20 years.
Support from a trained counsellor to help couples build a healthy relationship in a confidential and non-judgemental environment.
Listening Ear Service
A confidential service designed for people to offload any issues they are dealing with to a trained staff member. This is not a counselling service.
WASP Wellbeing Activities
WASP (Wellbeing Action Support Project) are our Wellbeing Team. Their aim is to build resilience, confidence and self-esteem within our community and across the city. They work with anyone over the age of 7, delivering a wide rage of services.
We offer a wide range of groups for adults to attend! These include creative, social and There’s something for everyone!
Young People’s Clubs
Our clubs aim to increase self esteem, self confidence and emotional wellbeing in young people aged 7-17 while having fun!
Just a Minute
Our Listening Ear Service designed for Young People to offload any issues they are dealing with to a trained staff member.
We offer a wide range of activities across a variety of Sunderland schools all that focus on building resilience in young people and raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing.
Parent Support Group
A safe space that is needed for any parent, regardless of whether there is a mental health issue or not, to express their frustrations and struggles with life or to get advice if they need it.
